About Moonrise Farm
Located on 6 acres in the middle of beautiful Cass County Michigan, Moonrise Farm was founded in 2019. This boutique farm offers a unique event barn that is available to rent for weddings or other events. The property itself, specifically the farm house, has an extensive history that predates the founding of Michigan as a state. The older part of the house and the small barn date back to 1832. The bridal suite on the second floor of the house is available for preparations prior to event.

Other information about the farm
The 2 main doors of the event barn overlook our permaculture orchard and market garden. We also produce maple syrup from 100 year old maple trees, boiled in a cast iron cauldron, and eggs from our chickens and geese, that are available for purchase (road side stand coming soon).

Moonrise Farm is a Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program (MAEAP) verified farm. We are required to go through a rigorous review by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development every five years to ensure we are in compliance with MAEAP environmental standards. We do this because we value clean land, water, air and food as environmental stewardship is important to us.

Our Event Barn comes equipped with a solar system and backup batteries giving us the ability to fully backup your event in the case of a power outage.
